Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) 
The Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Fellowship Program provides opportunities for doctoral candidates to engage in full-time dissertation research abroad in modern foreign languages and area studies. Group Projects Abroad (GPA) Short term
The Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad (GPA) Program provides grants to support overseas projects in training, research and curriculum development in modern foreign languages. The program supports area studies and advanced foreign language training outside Western Europe and in regions where the United States holds diplomatic representation.
