Are you a PhD student in the Humanities that plans to apply for funding to support overseas research? Join the Humanities Office of the Dean of Students and Graduate Student Affairs for an extensive discussion and writing/workshopping session to prepare you to submit a competitive application (whether it be for this fall or future years). Students from all stages in their programs are welcome. The last hour of the event will be a faculty panel on fellowships, featuring Christopher Wild (Germanic Studies), Daisy Delogu (Romance Languages and Literature), and Ahmed El Shamsy (Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations).
Registration is required for this workshop. To register and get more information, including location, please visit http://humfunding.eventbrite.com/. Contact Jessica Smith, Assistant Director of Fellowships in Graduate Student Affairs, with any questions or special requests. If you want to attend only part of the event, please register normally and send a note to Jessica.
This event will be held in the Grad Writing Room, located on the lower level of the Woodlawn Social Services Building (960 E 61st St).
