Swara Saraiya is currently a second year undergraduate student attending the University of Chicago with plans to double major in International Studies and East Asian Languages and Civilizations. She was born and raised in Manhattan, New York and has worked at the Japan Society of New York and Dominique Ansel Bakery, the birthplace of the cronut. Her interests include food, biking, and creative writing.

Toni Friedman

Toni Friedman is a third year international studies major with a focus in East Asia. She grew up in Tennessee, but spent many childhood summers in Taiwan.
