On October 25, the Law School is hosting Professors Chaihark Hahm and Sang Ho Kim of Yonsei University for a workshop on their book manuscript, Making Citizens: Constitutional Founding in Postwar Japan and Korea. The volume provides a comparative perspective on the role of the two constitution-making processes, in light of the national pasts and international context. Participants will include Bruce Cumings of the History Department, Ran Hirschl of the University of Toronto, Gary Jacobsohn of the University of Texas, and Sungjoon Cho of Chicago-Kent Law School.
