Yasser Nasser (Ph.D. candidate in History) was recently published in Twentieth-Century China (Volume 46, Number 1, January 2021) with his article entitled, "Finding “Asia” After Imperialism: Transnational Visions of the “Asian Woman” in China and India, 1949–1955.”

Yasser's research interests include transnational history; India-China relations; postcolonialism; nation and state building; intellectual history; and modernity.  His dissertation is entitled, "Creating "New Asia": Networks of Solidarity and Post Colonial Asianism in China and India, 1945-1957.
