A recent day-long conference featuring scholars from universities in the U.S. and China came together earlier this month to discuss and address environmental challenges in both the U.S. and China as well as the systems for confronting them.  This conference was presented by the University of Chicago and Tsinghua University, through joint efforts and co-sponsorship by the Abrams Environmental Law Clinic at the University of Chicago Law School, the Center for East Asian Studies at the University of Chicago (CEAS), the Center for Industrial Development and Environmental Governance (CIDEG) at Tsinghua University, the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago (EPIC), and the Paulson Institute.
