SSRC Funding
Various SSRC programs aid faculty and graduate students in their research pursuits. The Faculty Seed Grants Program is designed to catalyze innovative research projects led by faculty members across disciplines in the Division of the Social Sciences. These grants provide essential financial support to explore new avenues of inquiry, conduct preliminary investigations, or develop pilot studies. Our goal is to empower faculty researchers to pursue high-risk, high-reward projects that have the potential to make significant contributions to their fields of study.
For graduate students, we coordinate four Student Research Awards—the SSRC Graduate Student Fellowship Program, W. Allison Davis Graduate Research Award, Gedvila Family Research Award, and David R. and Mady W. Segal Fund for Social Sciences Research on Military Personnel—that support research in a variety of disciplines across the social sciences.
